Per Diem Teacher's Aide

Support students in classroom settings as a School Paraprofessional with flexible, per diem assignments in Lees Summit, MO. This role involves providing 1:1 and small-group assistance to help students thrive academically, behaviorally, and socially under the guidance of teachers and school staff.

• Assist students with academic tasks, social interactions, and behavioral support.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed.
• Support daily routines, transitions, mobility, personal care, and supervision.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet individual student needs.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Para Pro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or a minimum of 36 college credits.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Current TB test per district requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed.
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting.

• Background in special education, behavioral health, or childcare.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT, or RBT experience is advantageous.
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach.
