Per Diem Teacher Aide

Support student learning and contribute to a positive educational environment as a Paraprofessional in a school setting located in Lees Summit, MO. This per diem position offers the opportunity to engage directly with students, assist teachers, and support classroom activities on an as-needed basis.

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students requiring additional support.
• Help implement lesson plans and educational activities under the supervision of certified teachers.
• Assist with classroom management to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Support students with special needs in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers.
• Help prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources.

• Experience working with children in educational or supportive roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with staff and students.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward student growth and learning.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications related to paraprofessional services are a plus.
