Saint Luke’s Physician Group in Kansas City is searching for qualified BC/BE anesthesiologists to help with expanding our Main Operating Room (MOR) team at Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO. Applicants will be joining a vibrant division encompassing in total over 170 anesthesiologists, critical care intensivists, CRNAs, AAs, Anesthesia Residents, and Advanced Practice Providers throughout the system.
About the position
• Full-time position covering MOR cases such as general, ortho, robotic, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, basic neurosurgery (no craniotomies), plastic surgery, GI lab, minor vascular procedures and OOOR procedures
• Busy OB unit and Saint Luke’s East maternity care has been nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report for four consecutive years
• Robust ambulatory surgery practice with a busy ASC attached to the hospital
• Collaborative care team model using medical direction 1:2 or 1:3; physicians personally provide anesthesia on an infrequent basis
• Out-of-house call shifts (within prescribed driving distance from hospital) split by team of 7-8 anesthesiologists; call team comprised of in-house CRNA/AA covering OB and out-of-house CRNA/AA available for Main OR cases
• Applicants with fellowship training strongly encouraged to apply; very active regional anesthesia service and OB unit
