Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Lees Summit, Missouri. This role is essential for managing daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records and maintain effective communication with vendors, customers, and team members.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

- Prepare and issue invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.

- Maintain vendor and customer account details, ensuring all information is up-to-date.

- Perform data entry tasks to support accounting operations and maintain organized financial records.

- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance communication.

- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records or transactions.

- Assist in general office tasks to support smooth organizational operations.

- Utilize tools like SAP for efficient accounting and reporting processes. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in invoice processing and data entry.

- Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting software.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, customers, and team members.

- Reliable and organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
