Nights Class 1 HGV Driver - Stourton Bulk Farm

We are expanding! Arla Foods currently has opportunities for a class 1 HGV driver at our Stourton Inbound Depot working as part of our inbound logistics team. You will collect raw milk directly from our farmer owners. Please note you will be required to operate both class 1 and class 2 vehicles in this role.

Do you hold a clean class 1 licence, Tacho Card and CPC? Then we want to hear from you!

What does the job entail? You are a motivated individual with a class 1 licence and a valid CPC, who knows about supply chain processes and sticking to health and safety rules. It is vital you can understand and read all signage and communicate well with internal colleagues and external customers alike. You are as serious about quality as we are because you will be seeing our farmer owners.

You will join our Stourton logistics team with our operations manager, shift managers, leading hands and other HGV drivers who are all working tirelessly helping feed the nation.

This role is on a rota basis and includes weekend and bank holiday working. Premium shift payments are made for these days.

This role includes night shifts with guaranteed 42.5 hours per week and an overtime shift payment of £40. The shift pattern consists of four shifts per seven‑day week, which works out to 206 shifts per annum.

Hourly rates:
Monday to Friday – £20.13, Saturday – £22.20, Sunday – £23.17, bank holiday – £25.00. Guaranteed minimum 42.5 hours per week.
