Class 1 Driver

About The Role

• Love being behind the wheel and keeping things moving. Join Dawson groups truck and trailer team in Leeds as a Class 1 HGV Driver and play a key part in keeping our fleet running smoothly and customers happy.
• Working hours:
  
  7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday
• Transporting vehicles safely between customer sites, workshops and our branches
• Presenting vehicles for MOT inspections with confidence and care
• Helping out with office duties, vehicle handovers and occasional guest transport
• Keeping vehicles in top shape inside and out
• Supporting with ad hoc tasks that keep the branch running smoothly

• You take pride in your driving, stay organised on busy days and don t mind pitching in where needed.
• You hold a full valid UK LGV / HGV Class 1 licence (this one's a must!)
• CPC Card up to date and ready to go
• Comfortable with day-to-day vehicle checks and general upkeep
• Friendly, professional and happy dealing with people face to face
• Always safety-aware and looking after the details
