Driver​/Yardman

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Driver / Yardman on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Hours are 0800 – 1700 Monday to Thursday 0800 – 1600 Friday (39 hours).

• The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and delivering materials to site, maintaining the cleanliness & organisation of the site, material handling and site logistics.
• Drive and operate vehicles above 3.5 tonne.
• Maintain the organisation, cleanliness and safety of the construction yard, ensuring materials are stored appropriately.
• Safely load and unload materials, tools and equipment onto vehicles.
• Assist with general site tasks, including basic site maintenance and preparation.
• Monitor and report on the stock of materials and consumables in the yard.
• Perform daily checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Driver / Yardman.
• Previous experience is essential.
• Must hold a full clean driving licence that enables you to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes.

Salary : £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
