Children and Young Persons Independent Stalking Advocate; ISA

Overview

This new role will put you at the heart of an innovative partnership across West Yorkshire that is changing how we respond to stalking. As part of the Safer Steps Team, you will provide specialist support to high-risk, vulnerable children and young people who are experiencing stalking, whether it is domestic abuse-related or non-domestic abuse-related. Your work will help shape a safer, more coordinated approach to protecting young people and improving their long-term wellbeing.

• Raise awareness and understanding of stalking and its unique impact on young victim-survivors across services and partner organisations.
• Break down barriers to support, ensuring children and young people can access the help they need when they need it most.
• Improve processes and pathways, helping to shape a more responsive and coordinated approach for both current and future victim-survivors.

• Empathetic, compassionate, and committed to making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
• Experience working within a partnership or multi-agency environment.
• Ability to build trust and support others through challenging circumstances.
