Location: Leeds
Type:Permanent, Full-Time
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Salary: £30,000 per year plus commission, OTE £45,000+ pa
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused
Drainage Engineer
to join our growing team in aclient-facing, field-basedrole. Youll attend domestic and commercial properties, diagnose and resolve drainage issues, and represent the business professionally on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend both emergency and planned drainage jobs
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods, etc.
- Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining, and minor excavations
- Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
- Identify and recommend additional work where appropriate
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures
- Contribute to brand reputation with excellent service and technical knowledge
- Take part in an on-call rota to support 24/7 service delivery
- Minimum 1 years drainage experience (essential)
- Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
- HPWJ certification preferred
- Plumbing knowledge and/or drainage tanker experience (desirable)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Comfortable using mobile apps and technology on-site
- £28,000 £ 30,000 per year basic salary plus performance-based bonuses
- On target earnings £38,000 pa
