Rhino Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, national air hygiene and water treatment specialist. Our client is one of the UK's longest-established providers in the sector, delivering specialist compliance services across healthcare, high-security establishments, local government, education, and commercial environments.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join their team, ideally based within the Southampton-Portsmouth region, covering sites up to Basingstoke and Reading.

This is a field-based position working across a variety of client sites throughout England. The successful candidate will carry out primarily water hygiene duties, with occasional air hygiene responsibilities.

• TMV servicing and maintenance
• Down service disinfections (mains or tank-fed systems)
• Monthly water monitoring in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274, including:
• Outlet temperature checks
• Cold water tank inspections
• Hot water storage vessel inspections
• Logbook updates
• Water sampling
• Water softener servicing and disinfections
• Occasional air ventilation duties including fire damper testing
• Routine maintenance of air handling units

• Legionella Awareness Training / Qualification
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Water Hygiene
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance
• Comfortable working at height and within confined spaces
• Knowledge of current legislation and compliance guidance
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confident communicator
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• City & Guilds qualification in TMV Servicing
