Maintenance Electrician

Biological Consulting Europe Ltd (via CBW Staffing Solutions) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis. This is a site-based role located in Castle Donington, Derbyshire.

• Competitive salary of £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Core hours Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) between 6:00am - 10:00pm
• Participation in “out of hours” on call rota
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Collaborate with other personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.

• Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
