The Role We are seeking an experienced Fabric Estimator to join our London-based team, specialising in fabric maintenance works across commercial and residential buildings. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on background in carpentry, plumbing, or general building maintenance , who has moved (or is moving) into an estimating position. Youll be primarily office-based, with flexibility to attend client sites where required to support accurate scoping and pricing.

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely estimates and quotations for fabric maintenance works Price jobs relating to carpentry, plumbing, joinery, patch repairs, flooring, doors, ceilings, and general fabric works Work with schedule of rates and bespoke pricing Produce quotation and tender presentation packs Liaise with operational teams to clarify scope, access requirements, and technical detail Review quotations with management and support problem-solving where required Ensure all estimates comply with Health & Safety requirements Procure materials and equipment needed to deliver works Attend site visits when necessary to ensure accurate pricing and job understanding About You Proven experience estimating fabric maintenance works within FM or building maintenance Strong background in carpentry, plumbing, or general building/fabric maintenance Good understanding of schedule of rates and maintenance pricing Technically minded with the ability to interpret job specs and drawings Strong communication and customer service skills Confident dealing with clients, engineers, and management Highly organised, numerate, and detail-focused Competent using Outlook, Word, and Excel Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads Whats on Offer Salary up to £44,000 depending on experience Central London office location Opportunity to join a stable FM business with long-term prospects Supportive team environment with scope for progression Interested?
