Field Engineer | Pumps & Diesel Equipment

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair pump and diesel equipment on customer sites and in the workshop
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance
• Inspect equipment returning from hire and document damage or recurring faults
• Work to manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements (including PPE)
• Complete job reports and communicate effectively with internal teams
• Participate in a call-out rota (with standby allowance and overtime)

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
• Background working with diesel engines, pumps, plant or mechanical equipment
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working on customer or construction sites
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
• Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
