Lead Electrician (Training on Solar)

Location:

North of England – Leeds, York, Hull, Middlesbrough, Durham, Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 plus van, overtime, bonus, pension, progression, holidays (Christmas shut down), food allowance.

We are looking for a fully qualified electrician, holding AM2, with experience in the solar sector, to join an industry‑leading company that is experiencing huge growth. The company installs commercial solar PV systems and solar‑powered carports across the UK, from 6 kW up to multi‑megawatt projects. MCS accredited, with an excellent industry reputation.

• Lead electrician on site, overseeing all aspects of electrical installation for commercial systems.
• Install commercial PV, solar‑powered carports and general electrical fit‑outs.
• Travel across the North of England Monday‑Friday, project dependent.

• Fully qualified electrician with AM2.
• Experience in the solar sector.
• Possess ECS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, 2391 test and inspect, AM2.
• Desire training/progression into site manager or project manager.
