Location: Burley

Hours: 16 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Tuesday 12:00‑22:00 and Sunday 11:00‑17:00

Hourly Rate: £13.54

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
• Assess and identify vulnerabilities, working proactively to minimise risk
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
• Complete colleague and contractor searches when required, in line with customer policy
• Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
• Provide detailed, legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities

To be an effective Security Officer, you will need to be a confident communicator who can provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. You should be welcoming, patient with customers, and able to handle conflict professionally.

• Valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence (current)
• Previous experience in a retail security role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided
• Full 5‑year checkable work or back‑to‑school history
