Overview

We are currently looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor / Environmental Services Consultant to manage an existing account base within the Southwest of the UK. If you are a driven individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a passion for driving business growth, we would love to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments to comply with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and further relevant documents across a range of commercial and industrial properties.
  • Produce all reports accurately and to a high standard, with clear recommendations for corrective actions and control measures.
  • Understand technical guidance and documentation.
  • Produce schematics.
  • Travel flexibly across the UK with potential stayaways.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain strong interpersonal skills.
  • Work to stringent turnaround times of reports.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Water Hygiene and minimum of 1 year role‑specific experience.
  • Relevant Legionella risk assessment qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Capability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Pass Enhanced DBS check.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Benefits
  • Salary £28,000 - £36,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Company car or generous car allowance package.
  • Overtime at 1.5x rate.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; buy and sell scheme available.
  • Probationary period – 6 months.
  • Pension – auto‑enrolment after 3 months (Employee 5% + Employer 5% via salary sacrifice).

  • Notice – 1 week during probation, 1 month thereafter.
