Aboutthe Role
As a Client Manager, you will grow revenue from existing firms within a defined customer group. You will deliver or exceed an agreed set of financial targets and objectives through high‑quality account management.
Responsibilities- Manage and close renewal opportunities with existing customers, ensuring timely follow‑up and maintaining strong client relationships to support retention and growth, and achieving or exceeding targeted revenue for products by identifying upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
- Identify account issues and needs and demonstrate the business value of Lexis Nexis products.
- Ensure customer experience is in line with agreed targets, in terms of quality and frequency of contact.
- Adhere to planning, documentation, reporting and data recording in line with agreed methods and targets.
- Work with other internal departments—including Marketing, Customer Success and Strategy—to feedback trends and help shape our go‑to‑market actions.
- Educate customers with thought leadership and expert market knowledge.
- Be results and target driven with a self‑motivated aptitude.
- Have excellent communication skills, essential time management and planning.
- Demonstrate the ability to spot commercial opportunities, leveraging data and insight and proven sales methodology to close opportunities.
- Have experience working within a B2B sales / customer service environment and retaining and growing customers.
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
