A leading fashion retailer in West Yorkshire are looking to expand in their growing product team with a Merchandiser to work closely with the buying team to plan the range based on trend and analysis. They are a small but fast-growing and it’s a great time to be joining the brand.
The BrandThey are an established fashion brand who launched in 2017. The objective of this Merchandiser role is to drive profitable growth by planning, forecasting, and trading product ranges effectively across web, wholesale, and marketplace channels. The role focuses on analysing performance, managing stock levels and OTB, identifying risks and opportunities, and collaborating closely with buying, logistics, sales, and e-commerce teams to ensure the right product is available at the right time to meet demand and maximise sales performance
The Role- Take ownership of a specific product area, managing OTB, WSSIs, and flagging risks or opportunities to the Merchandising Manager.
- Produce regular performance reports, analyse sales data, and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels across web, wholesale, and marketplace channels.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics to monitor inbound stock and launch timelines, keeping relevant teams updated on any changes.
- Recommend sale and promotional selections in line with the brand calendar and commercial targets.
- Present trading insights and actionable recommendations during quarterly performance reviews.
- Support range review meetings and sign-off sessions with the wider management team.
- Work collaboratively with Buying, Logistics, Sales, and E-commerce to ensure aligned trading decisions.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a merchandising role, ideally within fashion.
- Confident and clear communicator across teams and stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel capability with strong numerical confidence.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
- Fast learner who can absorb large volumes of information and prioritise effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management.
- Either an established Junior Merchandiser ready to step up, or a Merchandiser seeking a new challenge.
- Salary is up to 40k
- 4 days in the office 1 day from home
- Free parking onsite
- 10% bonus
