Retail Supervisor – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Armley, Leeds. The role is a permanent 39‑hour full time position, working a variety of shifts, 5 days a week. You must be fully flexible in your availability throughout the week, including weekends.

• 39 hours across 5 days per week
• Pay: £13.11 per hour
• Minimum guaranteed hours: 39 per week (around £511 per week); overtime may be available

• Support the manager as part of the management team, leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Strong interpersonal skills – easy to get on with everyone and build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable – team and customers will depend upon you.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is a plus, but we welcome those who want to step into retail management.
