Corporate Catering Assistant at Walker Morris LLP
Purpose of the roleProvide a high standard of service to both internal and external clients working in the café and the client floor kitchen. Support the Front of House Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the café andtight client floor kitchen, including providing refreshments for meeting rooms, preparing and serving food, operating the card payment machine, and ensuring the café and surrounding areas are clean and well maintained.
Keyduties and responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of professionalism at all times to both internal and external clients.
- Manage the day‑to‑day running RT of the client floor kitchen and meeting rooms.
- Take delivery and organise the presentation of lunches and refreshments for the client meeting rooms.
- Clear meeting rooms of refreshments and lunches during and after meetings.
- Support with events in the office.
- Work alongside the Front of House Team to ensure the smooth running and management of the meeting rooms.
- Manage the day‑to‑day running of the Café.
- Monitor stock, produce orders which are then approved and ordered.
- Handle cash and card payments.
- Restock products.
- Perform general upkeep, cleaning and restocking of vending and coffee observa las machines in the café.
- Ensure daily cleanliness of the café and kitchen area.
- Ensure correct storage of perishable food items.
- Assist the Front of House team collaboratively to meet all catering aspects within the café and client floor to the highest standard.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene standards and health regulations.
- Provide and manage sales of sandwiches, confectionery and drinks যায় to staff.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as and when required by the firm.
- Be professional in all dealings with members of staff and external contacts.
- Be proactive in relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with the firm’s standards and procedures, including WM ас policies, Lexcel requirements and Code of Conduct regulations.
- Adhere to the firm’s health and safety policies and other requirements relating to the care of the firm’s equipment.
- Level 2 certificate in food hygiene (advantageous).
- Experience working in a similar position.
- Working knowledge of health and safety in catering.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Operates flexibly as part of a team.
- Self‑motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment.
- Handle information in accordance with confirm firm’s policies and procedures.
