Head Chef – Royal Mail, Leeds

Salary: £30,204 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm
Occasional Saturday mornings (1 in
4) – Overtime paid

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our onsite catering team at Royal Mail in Leeds. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to our staff and visitors, ensuring excellent standards of food safety, presentation, and service.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver a varied and nutritious menu to meet staff needs
• Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team to achieve high culinary standards
• Maintain food hygiene and health & safety compliance at all times
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgets efficiently
• Ensure a smooth daily service while maintaining excellent presentation and portion control

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
• Creative approach to menu planning and food presentation
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

• £30,204 per year
