Position: Senior UX Researcher (Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to deliver high-quality, impactful research in the Customer Super Tribe, while supporting the growth and maturity of the wider UX Research team.

As Senior UX Researcher, you’ll be delivering end-to-end research projects, translating insights into clear and actionable guidance for product teams, and contributing to the development of research standards, methods and culture. With a solid grounding in qualitative and quantitative methods and a proactive, collaborative mindset, you will help teams understand their users and build products that genuinely meet user needs. This role will be primarily focussed on supporting a project looking at how we engage with customers across our product suite.

is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract What you’ll do
  • Support the UX Research team strategy, taking ownership of initiatives that contribute to team development.
  • Support design team culture initiatives, contributing to improving design processes.
  • Approach work with a cooperative, inquisitive, low ego, user-centered, and data-driven perspective.
  • Mentor mid-level, junior and non-researchers, supporting the development of their research skills.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs, ensuring research is grounded in real behaviours and motivations.
  • Deliver high-quality, end-to-end research, applying appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods and autonomously managing projects from scoping through to insight delivery.
  • Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights, ensuring strong alignment with product roadmaps and business goals.
  • Support the delivery of high-priority or complex research projects, taking on increased ownership as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with BI analysts and other insight teams, shaping joint research programmes that strengthen understanding and enrich insights.
  • Contribute to scalable research processes, aligning to team standards and supporting the UXR Manager in developing operations and rituals.
  • Share and evangelise research insights across teams, promoting evidence-based decision-making and helping stakeholders apply findings effectively.
  • Support training initiatives, helping develop materials and sessions that spread best practice and maintain high research standards.
  • Embrace continuous improvement, experimenting with new methods, tools and strategies to advance the maturity of research practices.
