Thrive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Administrator for our client based in Leeds.
Role SummaryThe Quality Support Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Quality Team, helping to manage quality systems, and drive continuous improvement activities.
Core Duties/Responsibilities- Maintain all customer complaints, in folders and assign investigations to relevant personnel
- Support the preparation and distribution of quality-related reports to customers and senior management
- Support the preparation and distribution of quality-related dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management
- Prepare presentations for customer meetings
- Prepare factual slides for internal quality meetings
- Ensure all investigations allocated are followed up and are updated in accordance with our procedures, with escalation if necessary
- Analyse data to identify trends in quality issues
- Raise scrap request forms
- Manage samples from NCR's and customer complaints
- Collect dockets and samples for investigators
- Ensure all quality records are accurately filed, version-controlled, and accessible.
- Update quality information boards
- Small tool management – ensuring tools are numbered and recorded
- Communicating with the sales team when rework has been completed
- Take accurate minutes of the quality meetings
- Request and monitor customer returns and rework
- Coordinate internal document reviews and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Assist with root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities.
- Maintain and update quality management system (QMS) documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- An understanding of manufacturing processes – packaging/print preferred
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Interpersonal skills – builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
- Problem solver and proactive thinker.
- Analytical.
- Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, as well as part of a large and varied team.
- Flexibility and excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Knowledge of all MS Packages including Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn and a strong desire to develop and grow within the organisation.
- Enjoy working to deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to check own work.
- Enthusiastic, committed, and flexible to the demands of a fast‑paced business with a significant amount of change.
