Job Summary  As a Quality Apprentice at Sulzer, you will gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and control processes within a global industrial engineering company. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn foundational quality principles, contribute to process improvement, and support the delivery of high-quality products and services.
** Job Responsibilities
*** Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Conduct basic inspections and tests of materials, components, and finished products according to established procedures.
* Document quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
* Support the investigation of quality issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
* Participate in internal and external quality audits, learning about compliance and continuous improvement.
* Help maintain quality records and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of quality-related documentation and procedures.
* Learn about various quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and their application.
** Job Qualifications
*** Strong interest in quality assurance, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement.
* Basic understanding of technical drawings and specifications is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and quality protocols.# What we offer you
