Senior Quality Inspector

Overview

Senior Quality Inspector. Client: BAE Systems.

Location:

Barrow in Furness. Duration: 12 months. Hourly Rate: £32.65 PAYE. Working Arrangements:
Full time on site.

• Perform inspections in line with inspection and test plans.
• Identify and report non-conformances using company systems.
• Use calibrated measuring equipment to verify tolerances.
• Support audits, customer walk-rounds, and quality reviews.
• Liaise with colleagues and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Promote safety, health, and environmental best practices.

• You’ll have a strong background in quality control or inspection, with experience using mechanical measuring tools - Verniers / Micrometres.
• You should understand relevant standards (such as ISO 9001/EN9100) and be confident interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
• Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) experience beneficial.
• Qualifications:
  
  NC/HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
