  • Meet our new practice owner Aimee, Aimee has worked with the practice for over 10 years working her way up from volunteer to RVN and now Practice Owner and she is bringing some fresh ideas to the practice that will shake up the way you think of vet working in a vet practice

  • You will work in a practice that puts your wellbeing first ensuring that you have 1pm to 3pm daily allocated to down time where you can catch up on notes, take a walk in the local park or take a long lunch!

About Us:

You are looking to join the Pudsey practice at an incredibly exciting time, with our new practice owner Aimee looking at breaking the traditional mindset of working in a practice with modern practices that put all her colleagues wellbeing as a focus, ensuring they are in the best place to provide the best standards of care for all our clients and their pets.

The practice has started modernising its space and equipment bringing in a new ultrasound and upgrading the theatre equipment. However, that is not where the new upgrades have stopped with the kitchen space being upgraded to give it a real home from home feel! Aimee also ensures that the kitchen has a stock of food and drinks for you to keep up your energy levels.

Along with modernising the practice equipment, Aimee is implementing new ways of working that will shake up your view of working in a traditional GP practice. This includes giving colleagues protected time between 1pm and 3pm daily, this gives the team chance to catch up on paperwork, take a walk around the local park or decompress and prepare yourself fir the afternoon.

By joining our clinical team, you will join our team of 2 other vets including our lead vet who holds a dermatology certificate. Alongside them we have our incredibly experienced nursing team and support staff ensuring you have everything you need for your day to run smoothly.

About you:

The successful candidate should be confident with all routine surgeries, dentistry and consults. An interest or skills in exotics would be an advantage, but any other specialisation is also welcome to provide our clients and their pets with a full service.

This can be either a full or part time role but will include 1 in 3 Saturdays (opening hours 9-4) with no out-of-hours or bank holidays. It is important to us that you maintain a great work-life balance so please tell us what would work for you.
