Operations Training Lead (Site-Based).

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced Operations Training Lead to own the end-to-end site training experience across induction, operational skills and compliance. This is a hands-on role working closely with site leadership and people managers to ensure colleagues are trained, competent and audit-ready in a fast-paced FMCG/manufacturing environment.

• Deliver a structured blended induction programme (Day 1 to 30/60/90).
• Coach, assess and confirm competence for operational and critical tasks.
• Own and maintain the site training matrix, ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance.
• Coordinate H&S, Food Safety, Environmental and compliance training.
• Maintain accurate training records and support internal and external audits.
• Produce training KPIs and escalate risks where required.
• Partner with Operations, HSE, Technical, Engineering and HR to align training with production needs.
• Drive continuous improvement using learner feedback and training evaluation.

• Essential: Strong experience delivering blended operational training.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and coaching skills.
• Highly organised with strong time management and communication skills.
• Confident engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LMS/SharePoint).
• Working knowledge of training evaluation and compliance frameworks.
• Desirable: Level 3 Train the Trainer.
• Level 3 HACCP/Food Safety.
• Internal Auditor qualification.
