OVERVIEW
Working as a Full-Time Manufacturing Operations Manager
, you will oversee our manufacturing operations in Leeds, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and maintain effective production schedules and workflows
- Manage and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure productive target are met
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to ensure seamless operations
- Analyze production data and generate reports to inform decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance
- Lead and develop a team of production staff, providing training and support as needed
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
Possess a degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field of study OR have 5 years of relevant work experience;
Possess experience in manufacturing or manufacturing supply chain management;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Excellent leadership and team management skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software and tools;
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency;
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities;
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills;
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
Work independently as well as in a team environment;
Willingness to travel;
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools;

- Knowledge of supply chain management programs across a multi-site enterprise
- Knowledge and or experience in lean processes
- Experience in total cost programs designed to create site specific value
