An established engineering company in Leeds is looking to strengthen its machining team with an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking full ownership of their work—from programming through to final machining—within a clean, well‑run workshop.

About the Role

* Full‑time, permanent day shift

* Monday to Thursday, standard day hours

* Friday early finish (total 39 hours per week)

* Working on a range of components for precision engineering applications

* Programming using Siemens controls

* Setting and operating CNC milling machines

* Producing high‑quality, accurate parts to tight tolerances

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Working collaboratively with the wider production team

What You’ll Need

* Strong background as a CNC Miller

* Confident programming with Siemens

* Ability to set and operate CNC mills independently

* Good understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools

* A proactive, quality‑focused approach to work

What’s on Offer

 * £17.00–£17.50 per hour, depending on experience

* Stable day‑shift pattern with a short Friday

* Overtime opportunities (paid at enhanced rates)
