Manpower Group is recruiting an Electrical Bias Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a high-volume FMCG manufacturing site in Leeds operating 24/7.
This role is ideal for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer with strong fault-finding and breakdown experience in automated manufacturing environments.
You will be responsible for reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and continuous improvement across automated production and packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical fault finding on automated production & packaging lines
Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery (Siemens / Allen Bradley)
Motors, drives, inverters, sensors & control panels
Use of CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar)
Essential Skills & Experience
Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer background
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
ONC / HNC / Apprenticeship preferred
Strong electrical fault-finding capability
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, or regulated manufacturing
Experience in 24/7 manufacturing or shift environments
Knowledge of PLC fault finding (not programming)
Experience with drives, motors, sensors, inverters and control panels
Salary & Benefits
£50,000-£53,000 basic salary
Paid overtime available
OTE £75,000+
12-hour shifts: 2 days / 2 nights / 4 off
