Lead Buyer

If so, this could be the role for you! Futures are working with a well renowned industry leading manufacture, located near Leeds, who is looking to appoint a lead buyer. This is an excellent company who have a strong emphasis on quality and a reputation for excellence. We are looking for a lead buyer with a strong background in manufacturing and an understanding of fabricated parts.

• Responsible for leading cost purchase of materials and components
• Managing stock control to ensure all material is available at all times for the production teams
• Represent the department in meetings as required
• Develop and maintain supplier and internal relationship

• Experience buying mechanical components for a manufacturer
• Prior experience working closely with R&D teams
• Experience purchasing parts from suppliers in the far east preferred
• MRP/ERP experience
