Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a thriving engineering business who are in need of a Production Manager on a 12 month FTC basis. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day machining operations, managing a team of millers, turners and EDM operatives, planning workloads and ensuring output meets customer expectations.

• Overseeing CNC machining production, including workflow planning, resource allocation and machine utilisation
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of machinists, setters and operators, promoting a culture of excellence
• Driving continuous improvement across quality, productivity and cost efficiency
• Monitoring KPIs and performance data to support informed decision-making
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams to resolve issues and enhance processes
• Supporting NPI activities and helping integrate new machinery, tooling and methods
• Ensuring H&S procedures and industry standards are upheld at all times

• Proven experience in Production Management within highly regulated manufacturing
• A confident leader who is able to coach, influence and build capabilities within the team
• Natural problem-solver with solid planning and organisational skills
• Continuous improvement mindset - Lean/5S exposure would be highly valued
• Results-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure when deadlines matter
