Emtec Building Services North is strengthening its delivery leadership team as we mobilise new projects and build on a strong, secured pipeline of work across the region. We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join us in Leeds. This is a key leadership role where you’ll take full ownership of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover. You’ll be leading site teams, developing strong client relationships, and playing an active role in shaping our expanding presence in the North.

Emtec Building Services is a leading M&E contractor delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, from early design and pre-construction through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.

• As Mechanical Project Manager, be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of mechanical packages across a range of commercial construction projects, while supporting the development of your teams and identifying opportunities to grow the business.
• Lead site and project teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, reporting, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Oversee variations and tendering of additional works where required.
• Provide technical support to clients and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop your team, driving performance and encouraging professional growth.
• Build strong client relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Support commercial, design, and delivery coordination across contracts.

• You’ll be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in commercial and industrial construction and fit-out sectors.
• Proven M&E Project Management experience.
• Strong commercial, design, financial, and delivery knowledge across construction contracts.
• Confident leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, client-focused approach with a genuine passion for quality and delivery excellence.
