Overview
Logic Fire & Security are recruiting a Field Line Manager. We are a trusted provider within the fire and security sector, delivering high-quality maintenance, reactive, and planned services to a wide range of clients. The key purpose of this role is to ensure our engineers are supported in delivering exceptional customer service whilst meeting and exceeding customer KPI and SLA targets.
From time to time, you may be required to assist our engineers. You’ll join the business on a remote basis, with weekly visits to our Knaresborough head office, reporting directly to the Head of Service Delivery
, with full responsibility for managing a regional engineering team.
If you have previous experience within the fire and security industry and a proven background in managing remote engineering teams, we’d be keen to hear from you. What You Receive For Joining UsWe’re looking to offer a salary of £42,000 to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days + bank holidays, fuel card, company vehicle and company pension and you’ll be provided with the necessary tools to perform the role effectively, including a company phone and laptop.
Role Responsibilities- Managing and supporting a regional engineering team, acting as first-line escalation for performance, service, or conduct issues, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery
- Driving service performance by managing PPM, RCT, reactive, and maintenance workloads to ensure completion within required timescales and achievement of client SLAs and KPIs
- Working collaboratively with the scheduling team to jointly manage key account PPMs, ensure same-month completion, effective portal usage, and accurate KPI reporting aligned to client requirements
- Enforcing Health & Safety standards across the business through toolbox talks, audits, client meetings, performance reporting, and identifying training, equipment needs, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Previous experience within the fire and security industry, with excellent knowledge of fire industry standards
- Proven people management experience, ideally leading a remote or field-based engineering workforce
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-centric and performance-driven mindset
- Highly organised, deadline-focused, and confident in managing KPIs, SLAs, and operational reporting
