Deputy Care Manager Burrow Down Support Service

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Burrow Down Support Service , a small 3-bed service supporting individuals with complex needs and autism . This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and confident supporting both staff and the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Care Manager with the effective running of the service Leading and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated Supporting individuals with complex needs and autism in a safe, respectful way Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and company policies Participating in rota management and covering shifts when required Taking part in on-call duties as part of the management team

About You:

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Experience working with individuals with complex needs and autism Previous senior or leadership experience within a care setting Flexible, reliable, and able to work a 40-hour week across shifts Confident, organised, and able to lead by example Willing and able to participate in on-call duties
