Overview
Are you a compassionate and experienced leader looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals? First Line Manager / Registered Manager. Full time role – 37.5 hours per week. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee two CQC-registered services, residential and supported living, in Leeds. In this role you will be leading, developing, and supporting people to live a healthy and happy life.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centred care across the services, leading and supporting your team to uphold the highest standards, promote independence, and enhance the lives of the people we support.
You will ensure client-focused services are delivered and developed effectively and efficiently, in line with policy, best practice guidance, legislation and our values of being Person-Centred, Respectful, Open, Understanding and Dedicated (PROUD).
Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day management of residential and supported living services.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Work in partnership with families, professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Develop and implement support plans tailored to individual needs.
- Establish and maintain effective links within your team(s), with other organisations, and with agencies or workers whose roles may impact your service area.
- Contribute to the successful future development of St. Anne's by identifying opportunities aligned with the organisation's broad aims, including policy and procedures and service developments.
- Ensure you and staff comply with St. Anne's values, policies and procedures, and that legal or contractual obligations are fully met.
- Be responsible and accountable for the quality of the service provided within your defined area.
- Take active steps to minimise the occurrence of voids.
- Management experience or significant leadership experience in a similar setting.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred care and positive outcomes.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Driving licence essential.
