As Assistant Transformation Project Manager, youll play a key role in managing and delivering a portfolio of projects on a day to day basis, with a particular focus on waste reduction, innovation and service transformation. Working closely with the Service Transformation Manager and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, youll help ensure projects are delivered on time,within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Thisis a hands on role where no two days are the same. One day you might be supporting the development of a business case or Project Initiation Document;the next, tracking risks and costs, coordinating external advisors, or reporting progress to senior leaders. If you enjoy variety, responsibility andseeing tangible results from your work, this role will suit you perfectly.
Youll support the planning, delivery and monitoring of projects across Estates & Facilities, helping to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.

Jobresponsibilities
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the project management ofmajor projects on a day to day basis, primarily the management andorganisation of Waste Reduction, innovation and transformation projects. The post holder will develop and delivreffective processes, procedures and management tools to enable projectdelivery. The Project Manager will develop frameworks within which agreed project outcomes can bedelivered.
To manage and monitor the delivery of one or more projects
To provide support to the Estates& Facilities waste reductionprogramme. To manage and monitor the delivery of projects to agreedtime, cost and quality standards
To identify sufficient and appropriate resources required to be allocated to projects, both within the project team and across the wider organisation
To manage the development and implementation of appropriate and effective project structures
To manage the development and implementation of appropriate and effective project control mechanisms,including programme management, risk management, cost control, variationmanagement and change control, construction monitoring and post projectevaluation
To identify and record project issues and risks and recommend suitable courses of action for resolution and mitigation
To report effectively to the Senior Management Teams within the Estates and Facilities and other key stakeholders within the projects.
