Salary: £80,000 – £100,000+ per annum + vehicle allowance

Role Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the business. This role ensures that the company meets its commercial objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, safety, and compliance. The General Manager will lead teams across the organisation, drive growth, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide strong leadership and overall management of the business, ensuring alignment with company values and strategic goals.

* Develop, implement, and execute business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

* Oversee all operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

* Lead, motivate, and develop management and operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

* Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to achieve business targets.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

* Ensure high standards of customer service and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

* Identify risks and opportunities, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.

* Ensure health, safety, and compliance requirements are met at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential Requirements:

 1. Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar senior leadership role.

 2. Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems.

 3. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.

 4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.

 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and employees.

 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach.

 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business systems.
