We currently have a vacancy for a Head of Corporate Facilities to join our People and Transformation team on a pivotal function at the heart of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
This role offers the chance to shape and elevate our approach to facilities management across the organisation, lead five critical teams – Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Security, Reception Services and Contingency Strategy – and contribute to the wider strategic direction of the Combined Authority.

The RoleReporting into the Assistant Director of People and Transformation, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic leadership to ensure our corporate spaces are safe and compliant, while championing a positive health and safety culture.
- Developing and maintaining robust security strategies and local resilience frameworks in line with Strategic Mayoral Combined Authority requirements.
- Leading and managing the reception team at Wellington House (our corporate head office), ensuring the Combined Authority is welcoming, well‑maintained and compliant.
- Representing the Combined Authority as a senior leader in corporate facilities and as a key member of the People and Transformation team.

About YouYou will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
- A degree or equivalent relevant work experience within Facilities Management, Health and Safety or Security.
- A member of a recognised professional body, such as IOSH.
- Extensive experience in leading and operating at a senior level in Facilities Management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of employees, partners, suppliers and stakeholders.
