This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and forward thinking accountancy practice in Leeds. The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and play a key role in the ongoing development of the practice.

- Managing a portfolio of owner managed businesses across a range of sectors
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and support
- Leading and mentoring junior and senior team members
- Managing workflows, deadlines and allocation of work within the team
- Identifying advisory opportunities and supporting business development where appropriate
- Maintaining high technical and service standards across the portfolio
- Strong UK accountancy practice experience is essential
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or highly experienced and qualified by experience
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio
- Confident reviewing work and leading a team
- Strong communication skills and a client focused approach
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
