Shaw Management Solutions is looking for an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to run the Night‑shift warehouse functions based in Leeds. The role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for ensuring all nightly operations are completed on time and to a high standard.

• Train and manage Team Leaders to maintain high standards throughout the shift.
• Conduct staff appraisals and manage disciplinary processes.
• Provide staff briefs and debriefs.
• Manage site security, paperwork for deliveries, and equipment issuance.
• Order and maintain warehouse PPE stocks.
• Ensure pick completion and all related paperwork is accurate and submitted.
• Perform quality checks of stock and raise any issues.
• Conduct racking checks and issue picks to appropriate work tasks.
• Induct new staff and book containers.
• Ensure staffing levels meet daily and weekly targets.

• Previous shift management or supervisory experience (essential).
• Strong people‑management skills.
• Ability to implement changes and drive improvements.
• Valid C/B or Flexi FLT licence is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate and direct staff.
• Organisational and time‑management skills.
• Computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Office.
• Health and safety awareness.

Shift schedule: 6 pm to 6 am, four shifts per week (rotating weekly pattern). Permanent role with a starting salary of £33,488 per annum.
