Role Summary
We are seeking a new Head of Service Building Control to lead a strong team in driving forward new policies, developing market and government‑facing credentials, and bringing about the change needed to continue to deliver high standards in a national and global city.

• Lead the Building Control service team and drive the development of new policies.
• Develop market and government‑facing credentials to support regional and global operations.
• Deliver high standards in a constantly changing environment.
• Ensure effective regional and global delivery of building control services.

• Building Control Degree or equivalent demonstrable skills and experience in Building Control.
• Registered Building Inspector to a minimum level 2F.
• Member of a relevant Professional Body (e.g., CABE, RICS).
