Yard Technician

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Technician to join our team in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, has a strong sense of responsibility, and is eager to grow into more technical tasks over time.

You will begin by supporting essential yard operations, including equipment cleaning, preparation, and maintenance. As you progress, you will receive ongoing training and the opportunity to take on more advanced technical duties within the business.

Yard & Equipment Maintenance

• Cleaning tanks when they return from jobs
• Preparing tanks and equipment for upcoming projects
• Cleaning spill guards
• Carrying out spill guard repairs
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment in the yard
• Performing general yard maintenance tasks

Warehouse & Administration

• Maintaining fittings and components in the warehouse
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Performing basic administrative duties, including updating inspection sheets, checklists, and operational records

Progression & Technical Responsibilities (Future Development)

As you gain experience, you will receive training to support more technical areas of the business, including:

• Installing fittings on tanks
• Conducting tank repairs
• Assisting with equipment installations on customer sites
• Supporting daily operational processes across departments
• Completing ongoing training in various technical and operational fields

• Hands‑on, practical mindset
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organization and attention to detail
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Driver's license
