Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Leeds Area for the position of Head of AV Warehouse Operations.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone ready to take the next step in their AV warehouse career. You will oversee the daily running of our AV warehouse, ensuring equipment is prepared, tested, maintained and organised to a high professional standard.
You will play a key role in supporting our production team by ensuring all equipment leaving the warehouse is show‑ready.
This role does not include logistics coordination responsibilities, but does require safe van loading and occasional driving where required.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient AV warehouse
- Oversee prep and testing of lighting, audio, LED and rigging equipment
- Supervise de‑prep and inspection of returned equipment
- Diagnose and log equipment faults
- Ensure damaged kit is correctly quarantined and recorded
- Manage inventory using CurrentRMS
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain asset accuracy
- Lead and support warehouse technicians
- Load and unload company vans safely
- Carry out basic vehicle checks where required
- Maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working within an AV production warehouse
- Working knowledge of CurrentRMS
- Forklift licence - Counterbalance or Reach
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot common equipment faults
- Physically capable of manual handling
- IPAF 3A & 3B
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
- Understanding of AV signal flow basics
- Experience with LED wall prep and handling
