Randstad Education is looking for a versatile School Caretaker to join a friendly primary school team in Leeds.

• Acting as the primary key holder, responsible for the opening and securing of the school site.
• Performing general DIY tasks, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting/decorating.
• Monitoring the heating, lighting, and water systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently.
• Overseeing the cleaning team and assisting with grounds maintenance (litter picking, leaf clearing).
• Setting up halls for assemblies, exams, and community events.

• Must have previous experience in a maintenance or caretaking role within the UK
  .
• A proactive attitude and the ability to identify and fix problems before they escalade.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety legislation (e.g., COSHH, Fire Safety).
• Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving furniture.
