General Assistant (Hospitality Driver/Kitchen Assistant)

This role is full‑time, term time only (32 weeks per year). Pro‑rated salary applies. It requires a clean driving licence and experience driving a sprinter van.

• Provide high‑quality customer service and create fantastic guest experiences.
• Interact with students, staff and visitors in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining high standards of quality and speed.
• Support kitchen operations, including pot‑washing and warehouse tasks (experience desirable).
• Drive the university vehicle to deliver products to satellite outlets across campus, performing manual handling where required.
• Work as part of a flexible team, managing time efficiently to keep campus and residential services running smoothly.

• Motivated, with a real passion for service and a good sense of humour.
• Experience working in kitchens or warehousing highly desirable but not essential.
• Clean driving licence and proven experience driving a sprinter van.
• Ability to handle manual tasks safely and work across multiple campus sites.
• Strong time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
