Fire And Security Engineer

Position: Fire And Security Engineer (Permanent)
Service Engineer (Fire & Security or Fire Alarms)

Package Details

* Basic salary up to £39,000

* On-target earnings up to £55,000

* Travel time paid (minus first 30 minutes each way)

* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

* 1 in 5 week call-out rota

* Standby payments: £20 per night and £50 per weekend day (up to £200 per week)

* 10% commission on sale price of items replaced on first-time fix

* Company van, fuel card, and personal use

* Gent training and qualifications provided

* Ongoing training with clear long-term progression

Role Overview

* Service, fault finding, and small works across fire and security systems

* Fire-biased role with a strong focus on fire alarm systems

* Working across commercial, retail, and social housing environments

* Attending client sites across West and East Yorkshire

* Ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable, and fully operational

* Identifying and rectifying faults efficiently to a high standard

* Extinguisher experience beneficial but not essential

* Opportunity to gain Gent training and manufacturer certifications
