Residential Conveyancer

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Location: Wetherby

Hours: Mon‑Fri 9am‑5pm

Full‑time, Permanent Position.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join our client's Residential Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancing professional to manage a varied caseload independently while delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.

• Independently manage a full and varied caseload including:
  • Sales and purchases
  • Leasehold and freehold transactions
  • Newbuild matters
  • Transfers of equity
• Produce high quality, accurate work with minimal supervision
• Maintain excellent communication and accessibility for clients
• Ensure sound financial management of files, including billing and monitoring of costs
• Support the firm in achieving and maintaining accreditations such as Lexcel and CQS
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations

• Essential:
  • Minimum 2-3 years' proven experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property transactions
  • Commitment to excellent client care and high professional standards
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
• Desirable:
  • Experience working within quality standards frameworks such as Lexcel or CQS
  • Relevant legal qualifications such as Solicitor, CILEX, or equivalent
