Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a fresh opportunity in a forward-thinking, supportive firm? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected law firm with a modern, client-focused approach. Based in the heart of Leeds, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a collaborative team delivering top-tier conveyancing services with the backing of a dynamic and innovative legal practice.
The RoleYou’ll join a busy, well-structured conveyancing department known for its quality of work, client satisfaction, and team-oriented culture. Working as part of a dedicated two-person team (a solicitor/fee earner and a senior assistant), you’ll have full responsibility for managing a varied residential caseload from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:- Handling a full range of residential property transactions (freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership) from instruction to completion
- Conducting detailed title checks and resolving any issues proactively
- Advising clients on mortgage offers and schemes such as Help to Buy
- Preparing legal documentation including transfer forms, redemption statements and completion packs
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely and smooth transactions
- Keeping internal systems and client portals fully updated
- A minimum of 3 years' solid experience in residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of property matters
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
- Excellent client care, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, detail-focused and highly organised
- Salary: £35,000+ depending on experience
