An established and respected law firm in Leeds is seeking a CICA Lawyer to join their expanding Personal Injury department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive with at least 12 months’ experience handling Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) claims to develop their expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

• Managing your own caseload of CICA claims from initial instruction through to settlement
• Liaising with clients, the CICA, and medical experts
• Preparing and submitting applications, reviews, and appeals
• Providing clear, compassionate advice to clients who have suffered as victims of crime

• Minimum 12 months’ experience dealing with CICA claims
• Strong understanding of the CICA Scheme and relevant procedures
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied caseload independently
